About the Role 

As a Global Product Design Manager at BEES Fintech, you will lead a team focused on enhancing our Credit and Payment products within a global ecosystem of financial solutions. Your role involves integrating innovative solutions across our applications, including our core BEES Customer application for everyday credit and digital payment experiences, and our backoffice platform that manages credit processes and payment reconciliation. You will ensure smooth integration of internal and external systems with user journeys for both customers and internal teams. Proven experience in working fintech products is not a hard requirement, but highly desired. 

In this role, collaboration is vital, as you will work closely with the whole design structure, as well as product managers, engineers, commercial stakeholders and others, to align efforts and drive cohesive product development. Your leadership will create a creative environment that encourages continuous improvement and delivers an outstanding user experience. 

You should think empathetically from a user mindset, inclined towards customer-centrism, work best collaboratively, and not be shy to make your voice heard. This role sits within the product org and reports to the BEES Global Product Design Director. 

What you'll do:

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional team leads to craft the vision, strategy, and operations of your initiatives
  • Design Leadership:Lead product designers by mentoring and creating career growth opportunities for those on your team 
  • Partnership: Work with other designers to facilitate, lead, challenge, and build consensus on UX solutions, while giving and soliciting feedback to improve quality
  • Coordination: Lead regular design reviews, critiques, and brainstorming sessions for your teams
  • Facilitation:Facilitate continuous learning and improvement for the product design team and its members 
  • Operations: Work with other design leaders to help improve the culture and processes of the global design team across all BEES product teams.

What you'll need:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills (in English)
  • Leading design strategy for complex initiatives and fostering the growth of design leaders within the organization
  • Ability to define problems and goals, map user flows, and prototype interactions across different platforms
  • Using holistic and creative thinking to identify opportunities that create impact across the team
  • Cultivate and lead the design process for the team and be a key contributor to your organization's product strategy with cross-functional leaders
  • You can proactively identify problems worth solving, and you help the team stay focused on the right problem throughout the product-design process to improve the product
  • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently without missing a beat

Bonus Points :

  • Proven experience working with financial products or within fintech or banking environments
  • Demonstrated success building and shipping applications or software used by sales teams
  • Prior experience leading or managing design teams
  • Strong understanding of the workflows, tools, and processes that support business development teams
