THE ROLEWe are looking for a validated top performer Senior Project Manager, Quality with extensive systems integration to organize, manage, and prioritize all inter-departmental projects for the global AG1 Quality function. This position will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes to drive efficiency, cost savings, and supplier quality performance. This role requires strong project management skills, a deep understanding of end to end supply chain processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal, external and cross-functional teams.
Reporting to the Vice President of Quality, this role will be responsible for coordinating, documenting, managing, and communicating all team projects across Product Lifecycle management Systems and Quality Management Systems implementation, raw material and supplier quality, packaging/component quality, and product innovation quality testing. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across various functions to drive project progress, manage timelines, proactively mitigate risks, and identify blockers and obstacles.
The ideal candidate must have outstanding collaboration and communication skills to ensure you are effectively documenting and disseminating critical information and tasks across the company, while ensuring department goals are being achieved.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive day-to-day project work to ensure that risks are proactively assessed and mitigated, problems are rapidly identified and resolved.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all matters related to the project, collaborating with all areas of the business impacted by the project and its results.
- Lead the triple constraint, facilitating trade-offs, resolving and supplying to the right scope, schedule, and budget to deliver efficient business results in support of the Quality department strategy.
- Lead project communications and stage-gate approval reviews, providing clear and concise written and verbal communication to all levels of the project team and partners, and tailoring style to a broad range of audiences and situations, including external partners, AG1 executive and chief leadership personnel.
- Build and maintain project timelines ensuring project tasks, dependencies and responsibilities are well defined. Apply critical path techniques in schedule development and project monitoring.
- Support the design and implementation of cross-functional practices which increase effectiveness and efficiency through standardization, automation and processes that scale.
- Partner with the Vice President of Quality to complete RASCI models to define ownership and responsibilities for projects and tasks including, but not limited to: New Product Innovation / Product SKU Revision, Brand Partnerships & Events, Product Packaging Components, Artwork revisions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure close communications and efficient handoff between Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams teams to manage product release timing across new packaging and components, phased in/ out raw materials and finished goods, to coincide with new product SKU releases, and minimize waste across AG1 supply chain.
- Establish a positive relationship with cross-functional PMO partners; cultivate a collaborative experience by which the partners are supported and eager to engage with the Quality PMO.
- Support PMO governance; facilitate cross-collaborative discussions with Supply Chain, Product Development, R&D, Regulatory and senior team members across the business units.
- Document and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success to leadership on a regular basis; provide support on the Quality Dept. Tracking & Monitoring process.
- Lead critical cross-functional meetings for the Quality department; report out action items, and summarize key information all global AG1 team members; consistently foster a positive environment of synergy, accountability, and collaboration.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience working in and understanding multiple supply chain roles. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSCP) is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in project management within the Quality and/or supply chain fields.
- Strong track record of installing consistency, transparency and accountability within a PMO
- Experience working with and balancing multiple projects and teams simultaneously across a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated record of delivering project outcomes consistent with committed timelines, budget and specification.
- Strong understanding of product quality, compliance, manufacturing and development challenges and methods for resolution.
- Experience creating PMO report outs using Power BI, Excel macros, and Oracle PLM/QMS, Asana, Google, NetSuite and Microsoft platforms.
- Excellent planning and leadership skills, ensuring that cross-functional team members understand roles and responsibilities and key deliverables are met
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated strong intuition for business and a bias for action; ability to lead team meetings and ensure accountability on individual tasks.
- Ability to develop and run a portfolio of projects; prioritization, trade offs, risk management, Excel analytical and PowerPoint development, delivery skills, suitable for executive level presentations.
- Team oriented, with excellent communication and motivation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $110,000 - $135,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
