Retail Excellence & Training Manager, Global

Purpose of Position

  • The Global Retail Excellence and Training Manager will lead the development and implementation of global retail strategies and training programs, ensuring operational excellence and high standards across all areas of retail operations. Reporting directly to the Global Retail Operations Director, this role will oversee the performance and development of regional retail teams and drive continuous improvement in retail operations. 

Job Description 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive global retail strategies in alignment with the company’s business objectives. 
  • Formulate long-term plans to enhance retail operations and drive business growth. 
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor global retail operations associates to meet and exceed operational objectives. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to regional retail managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. 
  • Design, execute, and manage performance incentive programs and training initiatives to improve problem-solving skills, customer service, and product knowledge among regional retail managers and trainers.

  • Enhance systems to track operational KPIs for regional markets, evaluating store performance and identifying opportunities for sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. 
  • Analyze feedback from regional teams to gain insights and offer recommendations and solutions. 
  • Manage the execution of retail projects from start to finish. 
  • Design and execute retail marketing strategies to promote products and services. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners for project implementation and issue resolution. 
  • Ensure compliance with Group Policies & Procedures and local regulations. 

Requirement 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields. 
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity in global and/or regional retail operations management and training. 
  • Proven track record in devising and implementing processes and programs to improve sales performance, operational efficiencies, customer service levels, retail marketing, and employee development/engagement across multiple regions. 
  • Proven track record in business planning and analysis. 
  • Well versed in retail operational functions and principles, from KPIs to incentive programs to resource management. 
  • Effective in planning, collaborating, and delivering results in fast-paced environments. 
  • Experience in project management, e-commerce, or consumer products is advantageous. 
  • Analytical, resourceful, collaborative, agile, and results oriented. 
  • Passion for analysis, people, technology, fashion, and lifestyle brands. 
  • Proficient in using analytical tools, such as Excel, and reporting/BI tools. 
  • Proficient in verbal and written English, Cantonese/Chinese
