Purpose
Divergent Technologies, Inc. is a leader in engineering design and manufacturing, specializing in the production of structural components for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking for a Sr. Oracle ERP Engineer, Financials to join our Enterprise Applications team to support the design, configuration, customization, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial modules. This role is key to enabling accurate, efficient, and scalable financial operations across the organization, and will be instrumental in delivering our vision of a seamless digital thread spanning engineering, operations, and finance.
The Role
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Intercompany, Tax, and SLA)
- Design and implement enhancements including project execution, configurations, and customizations to support evolving business needs in finance, operations, and supply chain
- Support requirements gathering, process design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support for Oracle Cloud Financials modules
- Partner closely with finance and accounting stakeholders to align system functionality with operational and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot issues, support month-end close, and provide continuous improvements post-implementation
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and training materials
- Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to define financial reporting requirements using OTBI, SmartView, and FRS
- Support integrations with PLM, MES, and other systems and manage data consistency across domains
- Guide change management, training, and system adoption activities
- Assist in managing vendor relationships, patches, upgrades, and feature rollouts
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle ERP implementation and support experience, with a strong focus on Financial modules
- Full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, SLA, Intercompany, and Financial Reporting tools
- Experience supporting integrations with procurement, inventory, and manufacturing modules
- Ability to use OTBI with understanding of OIC, FRS, SmartView, and SQL
- Ability to document and communicate technical and functional designs clearly
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across finance, engineering, and supply chain
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Custom code development proficiency
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-growth hardware/software business
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Experience with audit, compliance, and financial controls design
- CPA, CMA, or Oracle Cloud Financials certification
- Familiarity with lean process design and continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of DoD and GovCloud requirements

$134,640 - $185,130 USD
