Benefits & Compliance Manager

We are offering an exciting career opportunity for a Benefits and Compliance Manager interested in building a career with a Corporate Human Resources team! The successful applicant will be self-motivated, with the ability to take a proactive approach and effectively prioritize work to ensure that all tasks and projects are completed timely with the utmost attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with external benefits providers to negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective benefits packages.\
  • Serve as a strategic partner and subject matter expert to business leaders, maintaining a clear understanding of overall company and business unit objectives and setting deliverables that strengthen Keeley’s culture, capabilities, and ongoing success.
  • Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of benefits records, documentation, and reporting.
  • Oversee the background and drug screen programs.
    Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on benefits programs and compliance requirements.
    Provide guidance and support to employees seeking information about their benefits and rights.
    Maintain accurate records related to benefits enrollment, claims, and compliance activities.
    Generate reports as needed for management and regulatory agencies.
    Manage relationships with benefits vendors, ensuring services meet company standards and are delivered in a timely and efficient manner and programs.

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, related degree, or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 7 years of experience supporting similar key responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience negotiating and managing relationships with benefits vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM Certification, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Strong and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions.
  • Advanced PC skills with experience in Microsoft office products such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Strategic thought partner who excels in listening, influencing, communicating, and partnering effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.
