LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The United States Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) is the commercial joint venture between LA28 and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), charged with marketing and selling combined commercial assets, including rights to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams (Team USA) and the LA28 Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.

Manager, Business Integration:
This operational and analytical position will play an instrumental role in the integration of sponsors of LA 2028 and Team USA. As a Manager on the business integration team, the candidate will work independently with the functional leaders and be responsible for supporting the connection between the operational function and various other functions within and outside of the LA28 organizing committee and specifically developing and driving the operational processes required to identify and quantify business integration opportunities across multiple sponsorship categories and partners. The candidate should exhibit strong leadership and managerial skills, and the ability to source creative and innovative solutions at a rapid pace. The position will require cross- functional collaboration and partnership to drive operational and commercialization objectives. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Business Integration
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the analysis of business back, value in kind, and/or supply rights opportunities for sponsorship categories and specific brands that are interested in becoming domestic partners
- Lead the development of business integration templates for each category that allows the sales team to clearly understand the opportunity for each target company
- Partner with the functional area experts within the organizing committee (e.g. Games Operations, Impact, Finance, IT, HR, etc.) to get a deep understanding of budgets and operational needs
- Liaise with our partners at the USOPC and NBC to understand their supply needs and integrating that information into the category and target company supply analysis
- Act as voice of commercial team when reviewing procurement events
- Ensure that all business integration strategies and practices consider and promote diversity and inclusion
- Oversee partner supply agreements, including negotiation support and the development of a program to ensure efficient and effective management and orchestration of partner supply rights
- Lead feasibility studies, requirement assessments, and the development and implementation of solutions that drive business results (e.g. ticketing, hospitality, data capture)
- Manage functional area “rhythm of business” through project management tools and best practices (issues logs, project plans, timelines, etc.)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Able to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA
- Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
- Occasional travel may be required
Expectations:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or business development environment. Procurement, finance, management consulting and/or project management experience is a plus
- Sports league (OCOG, LOC, Host Committee experience a plus), team or agency experience preferred, with express understanding of sports and entertainment commercial landscape and how that delivers value for brand partners
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Great written and oral communication skills
Education:
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, operations, or business ,or equivalent work experience
- MBA/JD preferred
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000-$115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
