We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in Paris. You will be part of the Finance team and be reporting to the Team Lead. As a Collections Specialist, you will hold a customer-facing role and will primarily be responsible for contacting our customers with overdue account balances. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations (50+ per day).
  • Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
  • Identifying issues attributing to account delinquency and discussing them with management and with Sales Rep.
  • Interacting with collection agencies through on-going communication to resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Supporting operations by managing customer overdue accounts and collection activities by identifying the accounts delinquent/ Default/Write-off….etc.
  • Assisting with daily Cash application.

What you need to bring:

We’re a team of 18 people located in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. If you love talking to customers, are familiar with accounting practices and can remain friendly, calm and authoritative, then this is the job for you!

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a collection function or customer facing role.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French.

Even better if you have, but not necessary: 

  • Knowledge of the finance industry
