Our Global Fleet Management department oversees the life cycle of all company-managed vehicles/equipment or leased, owned, and rental vehicles/equipment. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager, Fleet Service who will collaborate with several business stakeholders and match use cases with mobility solutions for the day-to-day operations of the Fleet and our Global Fleet Services (e.g., Compliance, Fuel, Registration, Accidents, and Claims).  Your primary responsibilities will be developing, managing, analyzing, and reporting on fleet costs and fleet performance; managing data on fleet replacements and creating scenarios; developing and implementing data systems improvement strategies to enhance workflow; and providing customer service to internal stakeholders. This role will report to Lucid’s Director of Global Fleet Management, and work closely with Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Service, Delivery, Marketing, and other business units within Lucid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed analytics strategies to aid Internal Fleet business decision-making processes.
  • Investigate data trends and patterns to provide guidance on business strategies, operational efficiencies, and new opportunities.
  • Work with the enterprise data & reporting team to identify data needs, define project data requirements, and create measurement systems for business activities.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Managers and Internal Stakeholders to establish, standardize, and automate reporting and analysis for everyday decision-making.
  • Create and sustain reporting systems until they can be automated and introduce analytical programs and dashboard reporting to the team and its partners.
  • Foster innovation and experimentation within the team to explore new data sources, analytical methods, and tools.
  • Overall oversight of the Lucid Fleet Systems (e.g., Lucid Garage, SFDC, SAP, etc.) and Data Analyst, including the following functionalities: troubleshooting, support ticketing, managing users, roles, and profiles, and developing procedures around these functions. Testing and ensuring data validation and helping to implement new systems and processes for the collection and analysis of data.
  • Project manage interdisciplinary teams to streamline processes, build enhancements, and integrate new applications, including data reporting systems such as Tableau. Test and ensure data validation and help implement new systems and processes for data collection and analysis.
  • Strategize and project manage technology solutions, including front-end system interfaces, interconnectivity solutions for Fleet systems, and new technical projects to enhance functionality.
  • Act as a liaison for technical vendors, build strategies and relationships to optimize support and reduce costs. Will work as an advisor to the Director of Global Fleet Management on technology needs.
  • Monitor the annual Global Fleet operating budget spending plans and update budget spending.
  • Develop annual programmatic business cases for vehicle and equipment replacement.
  • Perform data review and cost analysis work to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual fleet productivity and operational reports and monitor monthly billings.
  • Deliver regular, high-quality analytics to the Fleet Managers on:
    • Fleet availability, performance, utilization
    • Metrics and compliance
    • Biggest opportunities for improvements
    • Issues and resolutions
  • Oversee data integration services and delivery. Platforms include Managed File Transfer, Application integration, and API Management.
  • Define and manage analytics services and platforms, including reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis. Ensure timely delivery of actionable insights to stakeholders. Monitor KPIs and performance metrics related to data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated automation (e.g. Python and/or other tools)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and key stakeholders in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Collaborate with peers to balance daily workloads and support the business.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively formulate effective action plans to deal with issues.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure to balance competing priorities with strong organizational skills. Able to manage several tasks simultaneously.

Skills / Experiences:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Business Systems
  • Experience in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, or similar)
  • Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, Python, PowerApps) and ERP Management
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Manage strong communicational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage fleet systems and tools
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle systems and technology, and compliance requirements
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$158,300 - $210,000 USD
