Analyst, Lease Administration

Position Overview: The individual in this position will assist the Vice President of Lease Administration in abstracting lease components, the preparation of documents for accurate billing, and tenant financial reporting compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports the VP and SVP to manage and implement the administration of complex commercial leases and lease related assignments
- Completes billing information for submission to Accounting
- Completes Lease Abstract information on EDC’s MRI Extension program
- Reviews Term Sheets with Vice President prior to execution including checklist and financial viability of prospective tenants
- Manages completion of local laws such as MMR, PMMR and Local Law 48
- Administers documents for execution in Adobe sign internally and with City agencies
- Tracks collection of tenant financial reporting obligations according to EDC leases
- Contacts tenants for missing and/or overdue financial reports
- Works with Portfolio Managers and Accounting to ensure compliance with financial reporting
- Works with Senior Leadership for legal enforcement of financial reporting requirements
- Administers outside contracts with audit firms and processes invoices for payment
- Assists in budgeting for audit firm(s) contracts
- Prepares excel reports for EDC Leadership as requested
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Real Estate, Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience with lease administration
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail
- Knowledge of MRI software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- New York City residence is required within 180 days of hire
Salary Range
$58,000 - $60,000 USD
