Role Overview:

SIE’s People Team is embarking on a journey to transform employee experience. We have an amazing opportunity for a driven Senior Core and Security Product Owner to join the People Technology and Services team. This Product Owner will play a critical role in leading system enhancement projects and assisting in security assessments we have within the platform.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage project portfolio relating to Core HCM Maintenance/Enhancements, Globalize Business Processes, assist in Absence Management, and be a key stakeholder in Security Management.
  • Meet regularly with your global partners in HR to prioritize enhancements or their regions.
  • Help your partners understand the capabilities of new enhancements by managing the bi-annual Workday Releases. You will be expected to present new enhancements that would be relevant to our current modules to the PTS team and senior management.
  • Act as a thought partner to collaborate with People Team to decipher the best solution for our business needs.
  • Act as Product Owner for Workday HCM related projects:
  • Understand the business needs
  • Gather and document requirements
  • Translate business requirements to system requirements
  • Configure/Prototype
  • Create test scripts and lead testing
  • Hypercare support
  • Act as functional support for Security related configurations.
  • Design and configure security roles, permissions, and data access policies.
  • Administer user access, define security groups, & enforce controls.
  • Act as functional support for Absence Management.
  • Design, configure, & maintain all plans connected to Time Off and Leave
  • Effectively use 3rd party technology consultants to bring leading practice solutions to your partners.
  • Assist with ServiceNow tickets to provide application support such as incident triage, research application bugs, respond to customer escalations, scenario re-creation and document findings.
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects.
  • Develop & Maintain training materials, Deliver technical training.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of Workday functional experience (configurations, security, custom reports, EIB).
  • 7+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst related role.
  • Global HCM experience is necessary to understand the complexities of our different Regions and Studio needs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with different audiences (technical, business, levels, etc).
  • Possess basic understanding of business applications and IT integration capabilities/touchpoints to identify potential upstream and downstream impact and intersection point.
  • Be culturally sensitive and inclusive.
