SIE's People Team is continuing its journey to transform employee experience. We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Talent Management Analyst to join the People Technology and Services team! This lead-level Product Owner will play a critical leadership role leading complex, global system enhancement projects and supporting the broader Workday talent suite. You will work closely with demanding customers and HRIS team members, driving efficiencies through product enhancements and consistent execution across the businesses. 

What you'll do:

The Lead HRIS Analyst is responsible for leading the administration, configuration, and strategic direction of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system with a focus on performance management, talent planning, and succession. This lead-level role acts as a key liaison among HR, IT, and the business to manage Workday enhancements, own the product roadmap, and provide expert guidance on complex talent-related processes. The role will champion innovation through Workday Extend, lead multi-functional projects, and drive customer engagement to ensure solutions align with business needs and deliver measurable value. They will be a driving force for process optimization, removing friction and ensuring consistent execution of talent processes. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and governance of Workday HCM modules related to core HR, performance, talent, and succession planning.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business units to drive continuous improvements and ensure systems align with evolving organizational goals.
  • Lead the design and optimization of talent and performance review processes, including goal setting, feedback, mid-year, and year-end reviews.
  • Develop and enhance succession planning capabilities within Workday.
  • Design and deliver complex reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Present actionable workforce trends to senior leadership.
  • Drive the development and deployment of custom solutions using Workday Extend.
  • Facilitate ongoing alignment across functions, balancing innovation and operational stability.
  • Lead large-scale Workday projects, including new feature rollouts and global implementations.
  • Manage timelines, resource planning, customer engagement, and risk mitigation.
  • Translate strategic needs into technical requirements and Workday configurations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for streamlined, consistent, and scalable processes across teams.

Experience/Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience with demonstrated expertise in talent management, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Demonstrable experience leading HR technology roadmaps, product strategies, and customer engagement at a global level.
  • Strong record of delivering Workday Extend projects and data-driven enhancements.
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams and managing full project lifecycles.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Workday HCM configuration expertise, including security, business processes, integrations, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Workday Extend, calculated fields, discovery boards, dashboards, and composite reports.
  • Experience in QA testing methodologies, project governance, and risk management.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Workday reporting tools.
  • Experience with Agile and traditional PM tools.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Superb communication across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong influencing and leadership presence with the ability to navigate complex, global environments.
  • Ability to be a process advocate, ensuring business processes are scalable, streamlined, and consistently performed.
  • Experience integrating Workday with downstream and third-party systems.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members or leading a small team.
