We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Web Analyst to join our Product Analytics and Experimentation team within the broader Marketing Technology (MarTech) organization. In this role, you will harness your expertise in digital analytics, web performance measurement, and data storytelling to uncover user behavior patterns and translate them into actionable insights that drive business growth, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and continuous improvement across our web and digital product experiences.
Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of data analysts, UX designers, product managers, content strategists, and digital marketers, you will develop and maintain dashboards, create data visualizations, and deliver deep-dive analyses. Your focus will include website funnel performance, user journey mapping, and site interaction analytics - identifying opportunities to optimize digital experiences, enhance user engagement, and maximize marketing ROI.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage web analytics requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable data insights to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Analyze user behavior, traffic sources, conversion funnels, engagement metrics, and content performance to uncover insights that inform strategy and optimize digital experiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other BI platforms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making across Product, UX, and Marketing teams.
- Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities by continuously monitoring digital performance metrics, forecasting outcomes, and delivering strategic recommendations.
- Support A/B testing and multivariate experimentation efforts, including experiment design consultation, pre-test analysis, and post-test performance evaluation to drive continuous product and user experience improvements.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection, including the implementation and QA of tagging, tracking pixels, and testing frameworks (e.g., Adobe Launch, Tealium, Google Tag Manager).
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with major digital analytics platforms, with a strong preference for Adobe Analytics; familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Mixpanel, or Heap is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze site performance trends, identify root causes of changes, and deliver data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Deep understanding of key web analytics metrics and KPIs (e.g., bounce rate, conversion rate, engagement rate), including their limitations and how to balance them to measure overall digital success.
- Knowledge of the gaming industry landscape, including user behavior patterns, seasonality, and major marketing or release event cycles, is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and work styles in a fast-paced environment.
