We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team and drive our growth in the education market. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building lasting customer relationships, and have a proven track record in sales, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be a driving force behind expanding our market presence with multiple State’s Departments of Education. You’ll engage with potential customers on a personal level, understand their needs, and showcase how our products/services can add value to the safety and security of their schools.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue potential opportunities.
- Deliver compelling and informative presentations to showcase product/service features and benefits.
- Serve in a consultative sales role and provide subject matter expertise to the education market on technology that supports their overall safety needs.
- Foster strong connections with customers through regular communication, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional service.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales goals while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure agreements that align with company objectives.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Effectively organize and prioritize leads, opportunities, and customer interactions to ensure a streamlined sales process.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to the enhancement of products/services and overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in a previous sales role, preferably selling to State Departments of Education and/or at the district or local K-12 levels.
- Background in mental health related field a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with customers and present product/service information.
- Familiarity with CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and maintain organized sales records.
- Ability to negotiate effectively to secure favorable terms and agreements with customers.
- Motivated by achieving and surpassing sales targets with a focus on measurable results.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a busy schedule, prioritize tasks, and maximize productivity.
