The AB InBev Strategy and Insights team is looking for a Manager of Data and AI Transformation with a strong knowledge on both technical data capabilities and business adoption. This role is integral to advancing the company's strategic priorities in AI and data within the function. The individual will connect business strategy with technical execution to improve the accessibility, actionability of the data to facilitate faster and better generation of insights. In this global position, the individual will have to collaborate with cross-functional teams, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and oversee the implementation of transformative programs across various markets.

What you'll do:

  • Define a clear 5-Year data and AI strategy for the Strategy & Insights team, build a roadmap broken down to key initiatives for every quarter, and drive execution of the plan in partnership with Marketing Technology, Global Analytics Center (GAC), and Product teams based in Brazil.
  • Understand business priorities to translate them to AI/data roadmap to drive measurable impact on the S&I insights generation capability.
  • Oversee the coordination of global AI and Data Ops initiatives for strategy & insights to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and acceleration, and automation of insights generation.
  • Engage with external AI vendors, startups, and technology partners to evaluate capabilities, pilot innovative solutions, and identify the best-fit partners for AB InBev’s transformation needs.
  • Provide architectural direction for data and data lake solutions to enable scalable AI/analytics applications.
  • Ensure data structures support marketing and commercial business use cases effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, product, and business teams—bridging technical feasibility with strategic intent.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations and communication to drive engagement and organizational clarity on this key priority.
  • Lead change management efforts to enable the adoption of data/AI technologies across the organization, specifically engaging with the top 10 markets of ABI to drive adoption of the tools & data ecosystem.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or advanced certifications in AI/ML, Data Science, or Digital Transformation are highly desirable.
  • Experience in data transformation, analytics, or digital strategy roles—ideally with exposure to both data engineering and business delivery
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, including schemas, relational databases, materialized views, pipelines, ETL/ELT practices, and data governance.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level transformation projects with senior leadership level visibility.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, automation, data governance, and AI/ML integration in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience translating AI capabilities into measurable business impact.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Background in management consulting or strategic roles in technology or CPG is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to explore datasets, support model deployment, and prototype data solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Experience managing distributed, diverse teams in a global organization.
