The Box Communications team is looking for a modern Social Media Manager to drive our social media and owned content strategies to elevate Box’s brand presence, engage with key audiences, and drive the conversation around AI and its transformative impact on every business on the planet. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own organic social strategy and publish content that showcases AI’s technology, thought leadership, and industry insights via Box’s owned and social channels.

Develop, implement, and manage highly visible, organic social and content programs to support Box’s corporate-level initiatives, including amplifying earned media coverage, events, awards, customer stories, Box culture moments, and more.

Partner with Product Marketing, PR, Developer Relations, Customer Advocacy, and Copywriters to maintain editorial content, develop social promotion plans, and serve as final editor for blogs.

Collaborate with Brand and Productions team in Box’s in-house HQ studio to create compelling content that stands out for being creative.

Foster relationships with followers and influencers, respond to comments and queries, and encourage discussions that align with trends and topics relevant to Box’s business objectives (AI, content, etc.).

Manage budget for promotion of organic content.

Set targets and track, analyze, and report on social media and content performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
WHO YOU ARE

Social media platform and trends expert with a passion for AI and technology and knows how to move the needle on increasing engagement and building audiences.

Experienced working with senior executives with proven ability to communicate strategies and influence stakeholders effectively.

Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different platforms and audiences.

Able to think strategically, execute tactically, and measure the impact of social and content efforts.

Have a strong point of view on implementing new content strategies and formats, and use data to determine what is and isn’t working.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires effective time management and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proven track record executing social programs in collaboration with executives, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.

Analytical - you know how to track performance and optimize campaigns.
REQUIRED SKILLS
-
BA/BS degree or equivalent
-
7+ years total experience in Social Media or Product Marketing in technology (B2B a plus).

Social Media Management Tools: Experience with Sprout Social to schedule and analyze the impact of your social media posts across different platforms.

Proficiency with design software including Adobe Express or Figma for development of creative and impactful visual content (motion graphics experience is a plus).

Familiarity working with Content Management Systems (CMS) including Drupal to publish and organize content.
