We are looking for a Business Operations Program Manager to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will drive day-to-day operational excellence and support the rhythm of business for a large engineering and research organization. This role is pivotal in creating an inclusive, vibrant, and efficient work environment while supporting employee engagement, internal and external communications, budget management, and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including human resources, recruiting, finance, communications, and legal, ensuring seamless program delivery and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with site leadership to maintain a business rhythm that drives execution of core priorities and fosters best practice sharing across teams.
- Lead and participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, including planning, implementation, and measurement of success metrics.
- Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies, including employee engagement, customer and partner events, and community outreach.
- Collaborate with leaders, HR partners, and diversity and inclusion teams to shape and sustain a positive, inclusive, and innovative workplace culture.
- Manage financial planning and budgeting in partnership with finance and business management teams, including budget tracking and expense reconciliation.
- Plan and coordinate on-site and off-site meetings, events, and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational improvements.
- Maintain strong cross-group collaboration and build partnerships across diverse functional areas.
- Operate with high integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Demonstrate exceptional collaboration, influence, and relationship-building skills across a matrixed organization.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 7-9 years of relevant experience in business operations, program management, or similar roles.
- Strong cross-functional partnership and collaboration skills, especially in complex, matrixed environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver clear, engaging messages.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience.
- Proven ability to drive execution, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with a high level of organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Familiarity with internal communications, community engagement, and event planning.
- Background in managing budgets, financial processes, and expense tracking.
- Demonstrated success in creating or contributing to programs that foster diversity, inclusion, and positive team culture.
- Ability to influence without authority and successfully navigate complex organizational structures.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $138,000 to $155,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $146,500. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
