  • Prioritize features and improvements, collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-impact releases.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Conduct market and competitive research to understand industry trends—especially those related to Kubernetes, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and virtualization platforms.
  • Gather feedback from customers, prospects, and partners to shape product decisions and ensure real-world applicability.

Field Readiness & Enablement

  • Develop and maintain demos, best practices, solution guides, white papers, and other field-facing resources to enable internal teams (e.g., sales, support, customer success) and external customers.
  • Partner with marketing to create technical collateral and messaging around product capabilities and value propositions.

Thought Leadership & Evangelism

  • Act as a subject-matter expert and evangelist on topics such as Kubernetes deployments, DevOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and virtualization strategies.
  • Present at industry events, webinars, and user groups; produce thought-leadership content (blogs, case studies, solution briefs) to showcase real-world use cases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with UX, engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure product features address key customer needs and deliver measurable value.
  • Be a customer champion – evangelize the product to drive adoption and act as a trusted advisor to customers

Travel & Engagement

  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and field events (approx. 20–30%) to gather feedback, demonstrate product capabilities, and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Gather real-world insights from the field to refine and iterate on product direction and messaging.

Who you are...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a cloud-native or DevOps-centric environment.

Essential Skills

  • Kubernetes & Containers: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration (Docker, container runtime, storage, container networking).
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar.
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, HyperV, Nutanix, or similar.
  • Storage & Volume Lifecycle: Preferred experience with Container Storage Interface (CSI), persistent and non-persistent volumes lifecycle management.
  • Backup & Recovery: Familiarity with backup and recovery complexities in containerized, cloud, and virtual environments is a significant plus.
  • DevOps & IaC: Proficiency with DevOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools) is a plus.
  • SaaS: Experience in delivering Enterprise focused products as SaaS is preferred
  • Track record of defining and executing product roadmaps in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience translating complex customer requirements into clear user stories and product specs.
  • Comfortable working UX, Engineering and Business stakeholders alike to translate requirements into market leading product features and value propositions.
  • Strong analytical skills for market research, competitive analysis, and ROI assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to present technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to create demos, white papers, best practice guides, and solution briefs that resonate with customers and internal teams.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
