Analyst, Vendor Management
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Management Analyst to join our Operations team. The candidate will work within Technology and Business Operations teams to execute a variety of projects and tasks related to business cases, vendor evaluation, negotiation, performance monitoring, administration and data analytics. The Vendor Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing relationships with external vendors and fostering strong partnerships to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services while optimizing costs and mitigating risks.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in preparing business cases for technology systems and vendor partnerships, analyzing core use cases and conducting ROI assessments to support senior leadership decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, evaluate both quantitative and qualitative benefits, and ensure alignment with business goals and technology strategies.
- Support the Vendor Management function in refining business cases, identifying key risks (including operational, financial, and compliance), and assist in planning contingency plans or mitigation strategies as needed.
- Assist business teams in reviewing, documenting, and negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors, defining terms, pricing, delivery schedules, etc., while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and service level agreements (“SLAs”) to assess vendor performance and assist conducting regular performance reviews to address any deviations from agreed-upon standards.
- Collect, analyze, and report data related to vendor performance, costs, and other relevant metrics to inform data-driven decisions, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Continue building out the Vendor Management function’s data & reporting capabilities, managing the current platform within Salesforce and potentially evaluating other systems in the future.
- Negotiate competitive pricing and/or favorable terms with vendors to optimize costs without compromising quality and identify cost-saving opportunities to reduce procurement expenses.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- 2+ years of experience in Consulting, Financial Services or other roles that require extensive Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, or Data Analytics.
- Proven experience in tech vendor management, procurement, or related roles.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in tech vendor management.
- Proficiency in using tech vendor management software, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 together with the benefits listed above.
