Senior Account Manager
About the Role:
Fuse is looking for a highly confident and ambitious Senior Account Manager who can thrive in a successful and fast-paced environment, supporting the team in delivering large-scale partnerships for two leading clients. This role sits within the Rights Consultancy team and offers the unique opportunity to work with high-profile talent & rightsholders across football, rugby & tennis.
You’ll be expected to be a trusted advisor to our clients, whilst also having the confidence to check and challenge where necessary. You will have strong interpersonal skills, be confident when liaising with clients and external stakeholders, be experienced in coaching junior team members, and can troubleshoot and manage projects independently. Experience working with high-profile and influencer talent is a must. You will be expected to have a passion for marketing and sport.
The successful candidate will be joining a creative and dynamic team and supporting ongoing projects. Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Taking a leading responsibility for the success of high-profile partnerships between renowned national and international football & rugby properties and two leading consumer brands
- Building client trust quickly via an ability to consult and add value
- Creating and delivering an activation strategy that reflects the brand’s objectives with a powerful set of rights & assets
- Managing and overseeing the end-to-end talent approval process, ensuring all required approvals from brand teams, rights holders, and talent representatives are obtained in a timely manner
- Work closely and collaboratively with clients, their agencies, rights holders, and talent managers to drive forward client workstreams and develop solutions
- Ensure the smooth running of projects, including effectively & efficiently running weekly meetings & delivering regular updates of internal documents
- Assemble and lead global toolkits & rights trackers to guarantee they reflect the latest state of play across various workstreams
- Actively oversee & optimise social content strategy & roll out, incl coordinating calendars
- Oversee the successful & timely implementation of stadium assets & digital assets, incl stadium LEDs
- Managing junior team members, including taking a strong interest in their successful development
- This role may include European travel, on-site support at events, and some weekend work
- You will have some managerial responsibility over junior team members.
Desired Skills & Experiences
- Experience in the entertainment and/or sports marketing sector
- A well-developed understanding of partnership activation
- Strong knowledge of entertainment and sports culture, keeping up with current trends and insights, and a strong understanding of the talent landscape
- Experience working with talent
- Experience on production shoots or events, incl. working with talent and talent teams on-set
- Excellent project management and attention to detail, able to own projects from start to finish, with the ability to multitask and think on your feet
- Confident & professional when liaising with clients, colleagues & external stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management tools, approval platforms, and document tracking systems
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial, and can-do spirit - be able to anticipate your team and clients’ needs before they do & be ready to go that extra mile
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Affinity for teamwork as a key competency
- Experience coaching junior team members
You need to have the ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK travel, on-site events, and some weekend work.
This is a full-time role & you must be eligible to work in the UK.
