Senior Manager, Programmatic
About the Role:
The role sits within the Philips Performance Media team and involves working closely with our 17 markets across the region to enable the next phase of business and digital transformation for Philips. You will work with and report into the Performance Director, and work in collaboration to the wider performance team to ensure the client business objectives are met.
The Programmatic Senior Manager is responsible for leading our Programmatic activity across the region for Personal Health for Philips. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Programmatic strategies and execution, planning and delivering strategies across branding, performance media and ecommerce, and delivering on Philips’ business priorities. You will define the ways of working for WEM Programmatic, partnering with both the client to deliver their objectives, as well as the wider performance team to drive a holistic approach to performance media. You will also line manage the Programmatic Manager, therefore you will be responsible for their learning and development, and leading the overall channel strategy, activation and delivery. You will support the Performance Director with instilling best practices, training and innovation across the EMEA hub.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, a problem-solver, with a proven background in programmatic & display to deliver best service for Philips.

Specific areas of responsibilities involve:
- Senior stakeholder management across regional Philips team
- Collaboration with local country teams to deliver best in class Programmatic media plans aligned with countries priorities
- Define and deliver the key priorities and workstreams for programmatic video & display for Philips
- Define and deliver the test & learn plan for Philips guiding execution of these plans with your direct reports ensuring Philips stays at forefront of testing new capabilities within Programmatic buying
- Ultimate responsibility for best practice activation set-ups in DSPs with expert in platform knowledge to be able to constantly improve utilisation of automation and new features, optimisation of campaign builds and creating robust QA process
- Identify and deliver growth opportunities
- High quality, robust and actionable data and performance analysis & reporting with focus on suggesting optimisation opportunities to constantly improve performance to both market and country teams
- Working closely with creative teams to optimise the process of specs sharing/ creative best practices to ensure that creatives are optimised for activation platforms needs
- Leading training for more junior team members to constantly push the team to develop, including objectives setting, 1-2-1s and robust plans for onboarding new team members
- Ultimate responsibility for billing and invoicing across programmatic media, ensuring faultless billing and reconciliation process.
- Work closely with media owners to review their suggestions and drive added value where possible including opportunities to work with new publishers
- Additionally, you will be a part of the OMD EMEA Performance Community, where we want you to share your expertise and knowledge
About You:
- Demonstrable experience managing programmatic
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of and experience in the media agency ecosystem
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Exemplary time management skills, able to prioritize and work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven activation and planning expertise across programmatic
- Excellent team management and training experience
- You will have a depth of experience across DV360 and CM360, experience in other DSPs such as TAM, TTD and Amazon is highly beneficial
- You will have experience in brand safety and verification solutions including MOAT, IAS and DoubleVerify
- You will have experience working with a range of industry partners covering a breadth of inventory, audience and data solutions
