Who You’ll Be Working With

As a Media Recruiter at PMG, you’ll be an integral part of our Talent Acquisition team, working as a contractor to help identify and engage top-tier talent across the media industry. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and department leaders across a variety of media disciplines, including Client Strategy, Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Brand Media, Analytics, and more. Your efforts will directly impact PMG’s ability to build a world-class team of media professionals who thrive on creativity, collaboration, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to deeply understand their team’s needs and gain insight into media roles across various disciplines like Brand Media, Performance Media, Partnerships, and Analytics.
  • Use creative strategies to source, attract, and engage top candidates through job boards, social platforms, networks, and industry-specific channels.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and guiding candidates through the hiring process with care and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of media professionals, staying connected to candidates and industry trends to proactively meet PMG’s evolving hiring needs.
  • Ensure candidates feel supported and valued by maintaining transparent communication, offering constructive feedback, and creating a welcoming and inclusive experience.
  • Partner with department leaders to craft compelling job descriptions and recruitment materials that reflect PMG’s voice and values.
  • Share PMG’s story, culture, and mission with candidates, ensuring they understand our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and client impact.
  • Contribute to PMG’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by fostering inclusive hiring practices and engaging with diverse talent pools.
  • Keep a pulse on the media landscape, understanding the skills and roles shaping the future of the industry to proactively meet PMG’s growth goals.

 

What You Will Bring

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience specifically in the media space, hiring for roles across client strategy, paid search, paid social, programmatic, brand media, and analytics.
  • Previous experience recruiting at a media advertising agency, with a strong understanding of agency operations and talent needs.
  • Familiarity with big agency holding companies (e.g., WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu), including their structures and talent profiles.
  • A solid understanding of how media channels like display, video, and audio work together to build effective strategies.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday to manage pipelines and track hiring progress.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Glassdoor to identify top talent.
  • Basic knowledge of data and analytics tools like Excel or Google Sheets to generate reports and track recruiting metrics.
  • Experience using CRM platforms or tools for candidate relationship management and engagement.
  • Exposure to DEI-focused recruiting tools or strategies to ensure diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
  • A natural connector who thrives on building meaningful relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in using creative and innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent across multiple channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate opportunities and share PMG’s story with enthusiasm.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and flexible mindset to navigate a dynamic industry and ever-changing hiring needs.
  • A genuine interest in supporting candidates through the hiring journey and contributing to PMG’s collaborative and innovative culture.
