KREM 2 produces some of the best commercials and promos in the Inland Northwest, and we are seeking a talented, driven and self-motivated Creative Services Producer to join our marketing and production team. From meeting with advertisers to help them enhance their brand and message, to writing scripts, shooting commercials and editing content, this hands-on role requires someone with the vision and skill to create multi-platform commercials, promos, and social media campaigns.

You will work in a highly creative and collaborative environment, thinking on your feet, and managing multiple projects for a variety of clients and station initiatives. KREM 2 is the leader in the region when it comes to community support. In this position you will also help promote and execute impactful community initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with Sales Account Executives and clients to come up with creative concepts for commercials.
• Work with reporters and news staff to develop promotional spots for news content.
• Write scripts that meet/exceed client expectations.
• Manage, direct and shoot commercials and promos.
• Be able to work with others and as a one-man-band, producing, directing, shooting, editing and placing spots in server on time and accurately.
• Be deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on schedule.
• Be skilled in developing promotional elements on social media – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Be organized, dependable and able to work quickly under deadline pressure.
• Be able to learn and adapt to new technologies, methods and platforms.
• Be able to work different shifts as needed.
• Develop and post social media marketing materials for station and clients.
• Represent KREM and its brand at community events.

Requirements:

• Experience in marketing and/or production
• Strong writing, digital production, camera, lighting and non-linear editing skills are essential.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, digital camera and lighting equipment.
• Be able to carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment daily.
• Have a valid driver’s license and able to drive.
• Comfortable working with clients, Sales Executives, and the creative services team.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Social media marketing experience.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excell, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
• Able to work successfully in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
