OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator 3 to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Required Experience:
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client, server, storage, network devices, mobile devices, etc…
- Provide Tier 1 (Helpdesk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and end customer.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems while remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage Unix and Windows operation systems.
- Install/ load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain, implement, and configure network operating systems to enhance and improve reliability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA).
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
