About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.

Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

The Fintech group at Wolt builds the financial backbone that powers our global platform. Across multiple autonomous teams, we develop products that handle everything from fund movements, invoicing, VAT, internal controls, compliance, and payouts to intuitive financial tools used by teams across Wolt.

Our Regulatory Tech team ensures that our financial products and processes meet the highest standards of regulatory and operational integrity. We develop standardized, scalable solutions for KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and merchant or courier due diligence, ensuring every financial interaction within Wolt’s ecosystem is secure and compliant.

As a Product Lead for the Regulatory Technology team, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of compliance and internal control tools that support Wolt’s global operations. You will collaborate with our engineering, data, finance, and legal teams, as well as product counterparts across multiple markets, to design smart, automated systems that keep Wolt safe and efficient as we grow.

📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki, Berlin, or Stockholm

Our humble expectations

You could come to this role from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally you have:

  • Proven experience as a Product Lead or Product Manager, ideally within fintech, compliance, or financial infrastructure domains.
  • Hands-on experience with compliance products or processes, such as KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or due diligence systems.
  • A solid understanding of financial data flows and internal controls, and how to design scalable, compliant systems around them.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
A blend of analytical rigor, technical fluency, and business acumen, with the go-getter attitude of a “could-be startup CEO.”
  • Experience working with engineering, data, and finance teams, and coaching cross-functional teams toward shared product outcomes.
  • Relevant education in business, finance, or engineering is a plus, but we value experience and impact over formal degrees.

If you are excited about building trusted, compliant, and high-impact financial products in a global fintech environment, we would love to hear from you.

Next steps

The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person, so make sure to apply as soon as you realize you really, really want to join us!

The compensation will be a negotiable combination of monthly pay and DoorDash RSUs. The latter makes it exceptionally easy to be excited about our company growing and doing well, as you’ll own a piece of the pie.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
