Role Overview

We are seeking a Digital Advertising Data Specialist to join our team. Strong candidates will demonstrate a proven track record in advertising measurement to support our new global digital advertising program within our marketplace. This person will lead the data strategy for this new business, working closely with commercial and product teams to understand their needs, and liaising with data and engineering teams to make the data available and actionable. Strong candidates are energetic, collaborative, communicative, very organized and who have had experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Liaise with data teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and streamlined access for stakeholders
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop dashboards and regular reports to stakeholders to track key metrics, including ad revenue, campaign performance, and customer engagement.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct deep dives into advertising module data (e.g., sponsored products, banners) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Strategic Support: Thoroughly understand commercial and product challenges to deliver custom analyses, and actionable recommendations presented through compelling storytelling
  • Experimentation Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design A/B tests, measure outcomes, and ensure data accuracy for ongoing pilot campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with local and global teams to address data needs, resolve discrepancies, and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in digital advertising or data roles, with hands-on campaign and dataset management.
  • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation tasks.
  • Analytical profile, with business and strategic vision
  • Previous experience with data analysis, reporting, SQL, and data wrangling, ideally in an advertising, e-commerce, or digital media context.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Ability to tell stories with data (Data Storytelling).
  • Excellent communication skills and flexibility to deal with different teams and demands
  • Knowledge of growth hacking and test & learn routines (A/B test analysis)
  • Understanding of advertising metrics (e.g., CTR, CPM, ROAS) and campaign performance tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments, supporting multiple stakeholders and regions.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is an asset
