As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining high-performance microservices in Java. You will work on large-scale, complex systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you'll do: 

  • Develop new features and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin. 
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into application functionalities. 
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness. 
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code. 
  • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standardization. 
  • Identify and fix bugs, optimizing application performance. 
  • Work closely with the backend team for RESTful API integration. 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android and Kotlin development. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and project architecture 

What you'll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. 
  • Experience in native Android development using Kotlin. 
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and architectural patterns such as MVI and MVVM. 
  • Proficiency in consuming APIs with Retrofit and working with RESTful services. 
  • Familiarity with modern Android frameworks and libraries, including Jetpack Compose, Jetpack Architecture Components, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow. 
  • Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks like Koin. 
  • Knowledge of unit testing best practices and tools such as JUnit. 
  • Experience with Firebase services and integration. 
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git. 
  • Ability to participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and follow best practices.
