What you'll do
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director to join our Brand & Talent Management team at Authentic Brands Group. In this dynamic role, you will work with some of the most influential names in entertainment to elevate and expand their brand globally.
As a key member of the team, you will drive the strategic direction of the brand, ensuring its growth and continued success in the marketplace. You’ll manage relationships with global licensees, endorsement partners, and internal stakeholders, making sure they have the tools and support to bring the brand vision to life and meet financial objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of the talent agency landscape, including managing high-profile talent, assisting in negotiating contracts and overseeing brand partnerships/activations. You’ll also bring your expertise in commercial production and on-set talent/brand management, ensuring that every campaign is seamlessly executed and aligns with the brand’s identity and goals.
What you'll be working on
Brand Strategy, Development & Global Leadership
- Drive Brand Performance & Global Expansion: Lead the strategic direction of the brand, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify new product opportunities, category strategies, and global growth initiatives.
- Negotiate Partnerships & Collaborations: Assist in negotiating new licensing and endorsement agreements, while offering strategic insights during key sales and marketing presentations to drive growth and strengthen partnerships.
- Ensure Brand Consistency: Develop and implement brand approval processes for new product concepts, safeguarding consistency and quality across all brand activations, collaborations, and public-facing communications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—business development, marketing, and PR—to ensure all brand initiatives align with overarching business goals and strategies, while maintaining brand integrity across all touch points.
Endorsement and Licensee Partnership Management
- Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with licensees and endorsement partners to gain deep insight into their business models and product development cycles, driving retail success and profitability. Provide strategic insights on how talent can enhance brand initiatives, creating new opportunities to engage global audiences.
- Manage Talent Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with talent, ensuring their brand vision aligns with overall business objectives and that contracts and deliverables are consistently met.
- Support Client & Partner Relations: Provide ongoing support to maintain and grow long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and partners.
- Serve as Key Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for external agencies, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between talent, partners, and the Authentic team.
Must Haves
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in brand management, talent management, and business development, with a strong understanding of talent agency operations, sports branding, and global brand management.
- Skills:
- Expertise in managing high-profile talent and complex brand relationships.
- Proven track record of successfully managing endorsement partnerships, licensing deals, and commercial production.
- In-depth understanding of talent negotiations, contract management, and on-set brand execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized with a results-driven mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Other:
- A passion for sports, entertainment, and personal branding.
- Strong understanding of media trends and consumer behavior.
- Hands-on experience in forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing revenue data.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Primary Location Salary Range:
$120,000 - $150,000
