What You’ll Do
As a People & Culture Intern, you’ll work closely with the Director, People & Culture - APAC to support critical HR initiatives across the region. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to strategic HR functions, from talent acquisition to employee engagement, while contributing to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be working on and learn
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Help onboard new hires and manage offboarding processes.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Employee Experience Initiatives
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities.
- Contribute to internal communications to foster a connected and inclusive workplace culture.
- Policy Review & Rollout
- Collaborate on updating HR policies and creating user-friendly guides.
- Support communication plans for policy launches.
- HR System Launch & Change Management
- Support the implementation of new HR systems.
- Create training materials and assist employees with system adoption.
- Talent Acquisition
- Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and resume screening.
- Coordinate interview schedules and support candidate communication.
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects
Must Haves:
- Currently enrolled university student.
- Able to work up to 30 hours per week.
- Able to work onsite in our Shanghai office.
- A self-starter who is result-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious and who takes initiative and risks.
- Exceptional discretion and confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
- Detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
- Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
Internship stipend: RMB 6000 / mth (working up to 30 hours per week)
