The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled lawyer to join our Legal Team. You will be responsible for legal and product advisory and handling a wide range of contracts for our organization. You will collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to provide legal advice to protect the company's interests.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- 6 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in a Law Firm/Fintech/ Bank. Experience in fintech, employment matters, data protection, general corporate, product advisory & end-to-end contract negotiation is required.
- Strong communication and drafting skills in English.
- Managing team members and people management skills.
- Demonstrable understanding and experience in laws related to fintech, employment and data protection.
- Ability to independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as may be necessary.
- Skills to keep track of legal expenses and promptly notify seniors.
- Expertise in maintaining and periodically updating MIS trackers.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Passion to analyse legal aspects of new products related to fintech space
- Ability to provide timely support as a team member on a wide array of regulatory projects.
- Willingness to identify and take up new tasks and be a team player.
- Fluency in MS Office and related tools
Mandatory Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be an independent, proactive, result-oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. A law degree (LL.B) from a reputed law school is essential. He/she/ they should be punctual, transparent, responsible and able to take end-to-end accountability for their matters.
