Business Analyst
The Swift Group is currently providing O&M support, new development and enhancement of financial systems for our existing customer in the Virginia area. The Swift Group is seeking a Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in financial systems to support our customers’ new business objectives. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, prioritizing, and vetting customer business requirements and have experience in all aspects of requirements gathering. The location if this job is Herndon, VA.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Elicitation, analysis and prioritization of both business level and functional project requirements. Ensure all project information is appropriately documented. Manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience validating requirements by cross-referencing them with other stakeholders by using requirement elicitation techniques like brainstorming, requirement workshops, focus groups, and others
- Experience analyzing and interpreting requirements for their viability against the business objectives and recommend workarounds, value additions and remove solution bottlenecks for the stakeholders
- Document requirements by creating use cases, functional and requirement specifications documents
- Gain requirements sign-off from the key stakeholders by making sure there is consensus in understanding requirements prior to final approval
- Experience in facilitation and observation skills and ability to coordinate and communicate effectively along a broad spectrum from executive management to support staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills and Provide input for customer-facing design reviews
- Knowledge in Agile methodology
- Possess critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
