About the role:
As the Creative Lead, you will be the guardian of VTEX's visual identity and tone of voice, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints. Your primary role is to lead and inspire the creative team, including designers and content editors, driving the creation of campaigns, web pages, visual assets, and editorial content that elevate our brand identity and reputation.
In addition to guiding the team, you will actively participate in hands-on design work when necessary, particularly for critical projects and developing key visuals. This includes finalizing high-impact graphic assets, ensuring the correct tone of voice in all materials, providing visual direction, and managing the team's workload. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform business objectives into compelling creative initiatives, while also proposing insightful ideas for campaigns and creative copy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects that align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Implement visual guidelines and editorial standards to reinforce the brand's identity and messaging across all channels.
- Provide high-level brand guardianship, ensuring all customer touchpoints, including the site, events, communications, and social media, are on-brand and maintain a consistent tone of voice.
- Collaborate with other core marketing verticals, PMM, and regional teams to develop creative strategies, propose innovative campaign ideas, and drive revenue opportunities.
- Oversee the creation and finalization of graphic assets, editorial content, and key visuals for global campaigns, new website pages, and product marketing materials.
- Manage templates and guidelines for print, digital assets, and content that regional teams can use to scale creative production while maintaining brand voice consistency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate creative and content solutions into broader project strategies, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Guide and manage creative vendors, if needed, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Skills & background:
- 5+ years of experience in creative positions or art direction
- Strong knowledge of design principles and tools, branding, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop creative talents.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting creative ideas and concepts.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
- Passion for creativity and visual storytelling that engages and inspires.
