What You’ll Do:
The People & Culture Intern will join our rapidly growing team for the Spring of 2025 (January - April). They will be responsible for a broad range of tasks supporting the People & Culture team but will primarily be focused on overseeing the project management of our teams’ key initiatives. This role will play a critical part in driving People & Culture’s transformational efforts by enhancing operational efficiency and supporting organizational growth.
What you’ll be working on and learn:
- Develop the structure for a weekly executive readout of our functions keys projects and initiatives, leaning on best practices in project management methodologies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the People & Culture, IT, Legal, and Finance teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Partner in driving change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new HR processes, systems, and initiatives across the organization.
- Facilitate frequent and effective communication and collaboration across project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing regular updates and status reports.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance our team’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Must Haves:
- Currently pursuing a degree in business, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field
- Able to work up to 20 hours per week.
- Able to work onsite in our NYC office.
- A self-starter who is result-oriented, resourceful, innovative, intellectually curious and who takes initiative and risks.
- Exceptional discretion and confidentiality
- Previous data management experience
- Strong technical aptitude, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
- Identifies and analyzes problems, develops solutions and shows good judgment about which solutions will work.
Primary Location Salary Range:
The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York, NY, is $17.
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York, NY, is $20.
