Purpose of Position

CASETiFY is looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, and passionate Product Designer to join our team. You will be a part of the leads in CASETiFY’s product design and innovation to drive the company’s product portfolio growth and expansion.

Job Description

Keep a finger on the pulse of the lifestyle tech accessories market
Run the entire product design process by managing and running lifestyle tech accessories product design projects from start to finish in collaboration with the product manager
Assist with concept generation and mood board preparation
Produce product design drawings, from first sketches to photorealistic 3D renders
Provide aesthetic specifications including color, material, texture, and finishing that reflect market trends
Develop industrial design mock-ups when required
Prepare packaging structure and design
Communicate design concepts and principles through visual presentation
Support product development team with various tech pack and CMF documents
Collaborate with the product development team to follow through with the prototype as well as sample development process, and give comments where appropriate to ensure the final product is well executed and delivers on the design intent, surface classification, and texturing classification as planned

Requirement

3+ years of experience in soft goods, fashion accessories, or relevant product design (candidate with more experience can be considered as Senior Product Designer)
Bachelor's Degree or above in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline
Strong proficiency in soft goods 3D design software such as Clo, well as 2D design software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, with hands-on experience in soft goods samples & mock-ups
Strong sense in fashion and trend, passion for fashion and culture
Good aesthetic sense in color and texture with a strong level of attention to detail
Excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills to ensure key deadlines are met
Able to multitask and solve problems creatively
Highly self-motivated and proactive, with excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
