Coordinator, Production Finance and Accounting (Part-Time)

Overview / Objective 

NFL Media has a robust production operations team which leverages a software called Media Pulse for production budgeting, scheduling, and various other operational activities.  This part-time role will be supporting the management of that system and will also provide ad hoc analysis in support of the finance forecast cycles and quarterly closes.   

 Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with Finance and Production Management in the day-to-day management of Media Pulse.  This includes new chart of account requests, budget creation, adding resources to schedule groups and billing code cleanup activities. 
  • Perform regular reconciliations between Media Pulse and financial system (Oracle) to ensure actuals and committed costs are aligned. 
  • Triage interface errors between Media Pulse and several feeder systems. 
  • Complete testing cycles for new enhancement release schedule.   
  • Manage onboarding coding activities for new hires including costing override and/or home code adjustments.   
  • Perform ad hoc analysis in support of period close and quarterly forecast submissions. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics 
  • 1-3 years prior experience in finance and accounting role 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, along with strong time management abilities 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in studio and/or field production. 
  • Experience with production systems and/or financial systems a plus.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multi-task meeting all deadlines and grasping new concepts quickly

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.  

 

Terms / Expected Hours of Work 

  • This is a Part Time position, not to exceed 30 hours per week. 

Salary

$30 - $35 USD
