Senior Director, Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis
The Senior Director will support the SVP of Finance in leading the financial strategy, planning and analysis function of the League Office as a center of excellence. The role will work closely with the NFL’s operational finance personnel, the Office of the Controller, and business unit strategy resources to deliver impactful business analysis and play a key part in driving insightful business decisions and strategy. This position will regularly summarize and present business performance updates, key findings and analyses, and strategic decision-making matters to the League’s C-Level Operating Committee (CFO, CBO, CRO, CAO).
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Oversee the FP&A team to consolidate, report, and analyze the financial performance of all NFL businesses
- Oversight of the development of budgets and re-forecasts, variance analyses, risk/opportunity assessments, financial models / KPIs, and various periodic and ad hoc reporting
- Direct responsibility for tracking cash flow statements, income statements & balance sheets as well as all forecasting, reporting, financial analysis, and accounting
- Ensure systems, metrics, and controls are in place and effective processes are maintained throughout the organization, serving as a thought leader in pursuit of continuous process improvement
Business Planning
- Lead and manage the organization’s annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning activities in collaboration with the SVP of Finance and the Strategy department
- Develop an internal business planning process, including timeline, templates, and deliverables
- Work with the Strategy team and department strategy resources to recognize and solve business problems and inefficiencies to drive business results, improve efficiency, and maximize ROI
- Identify and coordinate business performance review meetings with the Commissioner as needed
Business Unit Support
- Drive teamwork and collaboration across the organization on key League strategic initiatives
- Work with operating teams to provide fact-based recommendations that support revenue growth and improve profitability, operating efficiency and effectiveness
- Support key special or cross-functional projects/transactions at the direction of the CFO and SVP of Finance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 12 years of experience in FP&A
- Minimum 7 years of management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred

Salary
$185,000 - $215,000 USD
