WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design, develop, and maintain sales commission plans in Xactly and ensure alignment with the company’s business goals.

  • Implement, configure, and optimize compensation models in Xactly to support various compensation structures (e.g., base, incentives, accelerators, tiers).

  • Create and maintain compensation plans, including quota-setting, rule definitions, and payout structures.

  • Configure and maintain integrations between Xactly and Salesforce to ensure seamless data flow for commission calculations.

  • Manage user access in Xactly and Salesforce, including providing and removing user access as needed.

  • Ensure access rights align with job roles and organizational needs.

  • Ensure that all commission plan configurations and processes are compliant with SOX ITGC controls.

  • Document processes, access rights, and security measures in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with IT and SOX teams to support internal and external audits related to sales compensation.

  • Support and resolve any incidents related to commission calculations, system performance, or data discrepancies.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues with commission plans, integrations, or system configurations, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.

  • Collaborate with IT support to address technical issues related to Xactly and Salesforce systems.

  • Working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT) to plan and execute the release of new or updated commission plans. Conducting thorough testing of new commission plans to ensure correct functionality, accuracy in payouts, and alignment with business objectives. Ensuring commission plans are tested for accuracy and compliance before being deployed to production.

  • Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports in Salesforce to track sales performance and commission payouts. Analyzing commission data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for optimization. Providing regular reports to Sales and Finance teams regarding commission calculations, payouts, and any adjustments made.

  • Continuously monitor and improve commission processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. Staying up-to-date on best practices in sales compensation and explore opportunities to automate and streamline commission management. Acting as a subject matter expert for XactlySalesforce, and commission processes, providing guidance and training to other team members as needed.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Xactly and Salesforce in a sales operations, commission administration, or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience creating, testing, and managing commission plans in Xactly.

  • Experience managing user access and permissions within Salesforce and Xactly.

  • Proficiency with Xactly for commission plan configuration, management, and testing.

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, including creating reports, dashboards, and integrations.

  • Familiarity with SOX ITGC controls and best practices in IT governance.

  • Experience with SQL or other query tools for reporting and data analysis is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve issues related to commission calculations and system functionality.

  • Ability to create clear, actionable insights from data and present them to cross-functional teams.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex commission structures to non-technical stakeholders.Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, HR, and IT.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in commission calculations and system configuration.Ability to manage complex commission structures and ensure that all data and reports are accurate and timely.

  • Preferred Skills

    • Experience with other sales compensation management tools (e.g., CallidusCloud, Varicent).

    • Familiarity with financial and accounting concepts related to commissions.

    • Certification in Xactly or Salesforce administration is a plus.
