As a Mobile Engineer at Box, you will work on top-tier enterprise applications that are transforming traditional workplaces into truly mobile environments. Our apps empower millions of Box customers to manage their content and collaborate with their teams from anywhere. The Box mobile apps have frequently been highlighted on the App Store. You will collaborate with your peers to create an enjoyable user experience in our flagship Mobile applications. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining these applications while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused mobile experiences. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build user interfaces using UIKit and/or SwiftUI, ensuring a smooth and polished user experience.

Optimize the iOS Box app for maximum performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement intuitive scalable features.

Debug technical issues including crashes or performance bottlenecks.

Participate in peer code reviews while contributing to technical discussions and design documents.

Learn and grow alongside us! Many team members engage in mentoring relationships so we can continuously improve ourselves as well as support each other’s growth. We also enjoy exploring architectural advancements in UX across mobile platforms.
WHO YOU ARE
Required skills:

You have 3+ years of professional experience building and launching iOS applications.

Proficient in Swift with a solid understanding of iOS development concepts.

Take pride in your craft by creating reliable apps that prioritize observability and reusability.

Able to effectively collaborate with teammates whether they are local or remote.

Passionate about learning new technologies and frameworks.
Preferred skills:

Knowledge of the App Store submission process and app lifecycle management

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
