WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Box Treasury team is looking for a self-driven, energetic Treasury Manager to join our Treasury team focusing on Treasury operations including FX risk management, cash forecasting and liquidity, maintenance of investment portfolio, debt management, and intercompany funding. This role will report directly to the Treasury Director and offers opportunities to work with a dynamic team to grow and deepen your Treasury skills while also gaining exposure to a broad scope of Treasury and Finance activities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage the operations of Box’s cash flow and balance sheet hedging programs including executing hedging instruments (FX Forward, Swaps, etc.) in line with our FX Risk Management Policy.
- Monitor hedge effectiveness and assist in monthly trade settlements.
- Identify, assess, and recommend actions for any new FX exposures.
- Oversee Box’s investment portfolio and monitor compliance with our Investment Policy.
- Maintain Box’s debt portfolio and assist in required coupon or dividend payments, compliance with debt covenants, and internal controls.
- Assist in monthly funding activities including intercompany settlements and FX spot trades.
- Collaborate with IT/ES on various data integration and automation projects, propose and design ‘best-in-class” streamlined processes, look for continuous improvement opportunities, and perform system testing for project implementations.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or other applicable discipline
- 6+ years of relevant Treasury experience; publicly traded multinational high-tech a plus
- Familiarity with banking portals (e.g. BoA CashPro, WF CEO) and Bloomberg Terminal
- Experience with Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba), ERPs (NetSuite)
- Familiarity with foreign currency matters and FX hedging (cash flow and balance sheet)
- Experience managing cash flow forecasting models.
- Quick and independent learner, team oriented, acute attention to details, and strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a flexible first, hybrid work environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency MS Excel and PowerPoint (pivots, v-lookups, formulas, functions)
- Additional certifications such as CPA, CTP, CFA a plus
