Hospitality & Events Intern

The NFL UK & Ireland office manages the NFL’s business in the UK & Ireland, including the staging of regular-season games in London and our first NFL international game in Dublin, Madrid and Berlin, broadcast and commercial relationships, grassroots and community activity, fan events and marketing initiatives.   

The objective of the internship is to give the opportunity to the next generation superstar to gain work experience and insights into the sports industry.    

During the internship, they will explore and experience all aspects of Hospitality and Events, through engaging project assignments, events, mentoring relationships, and networking opportunities. 

Training opportunities in presentation skills, essential office skills, and Microsoft IT software training will be offered throughout the placement. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Administrative supporting including meeting minutes, status reports, presentations, event trackers, POs and invoice management
  • On site event support in the UK and Europe for fan activations, hospitality, and premiums
  • NFL Kickoff, Super Bowl UK-based watch parties and City tour event support
  • NFL team activation support including site visits
  • Fans first and Teammate programme support and coordination

Required Qualifications  

  • Right to Work in the UK 
  • Must have successfully completed full time education (A-Level or B-TEC equivalent)
  • Aged 18 above
  • Interest in Hospitality and Events
  • Basic level with IT software programmes, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Word 
  • To be available for the full duration of the internship in August 2025 to March 2026

Travel

  • The role will be office-based, with expected European travel.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work

  • The internship will be full-time paid role (40 hours per week), based out of the NFL UK & Ireland office in Central London, Leicester Square. 
  • The candidate will be required to work 4/5 days in the UK & Ireland office and overtime during busy periods, plus the weekends for the International Games fixtures and activations.

The shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 16 May, to complete an online interview screening and if successful move to the final interview stage, where they will be required to complete a small project task to be presented at an in-person interview in June.
