Transfer Pricing Analyst (Tax Team)
VTEX Tax team is responsible for managing every aspect related to tax planning and compliance procedures, focusing on improving quality and efficiency of tax processes, as well as mitigating risks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Transfer Pricing Analyst will report to the Global Tax Planning Sr. Manager and will be mainly focused on transfer pricing matters, from monitoring intercompany activity to keeping up with the relevant documentation and reviewing the policy as needed. The analyst will have direct interaction with different VTEX teams, such as accounts payable, treasury, sales, procurement and also with external advisors.
In this role you will:
- Deal with transfer pricing compliance: plan yearly activities based on local deadlines, engage third party advisors, gather information, review reports and file returns with the support of local compliance teams;
- Deal with transfer pricing management: monitoring of intercompany agreements effective dates, alignment with local regulations and nature of the transactions, review invoices and accounting entries related to the relevant payables/receivables, including foreign tax credit;
- Deal with transfer pricing policy reviews: revisit adequacy of global policy from time to time in light of latest changes in corporate structure, business models etc.
- Budgeting third party transfer pricing services and keeping track of the relevant spend;
- You must be located in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo;
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, economics or related areas;
- You have Advanced English skills, Spanish is a plus;
- You have 3+ years of professional experience (preferably at a Big 4 or mid to large sized multinational);
- You have a solid background in direct taxes, transfer pricing and accounting knowledge;
- You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets;
- You are an enthusiast about the use of technology in your daily routine;
- You are organized, proactive and self-motivated to work in an environment with great autonomy;
- You enjoy working with individuals from different academic, cultural and professional background;
