WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Box Legal team is looking for a contracts manager with experience supporting sales organizations and cloud technology companies to help with drafting, negotiating and closing commercial transactions for the purchase of Box's products and services and generally support our business activities in the United States and several international markets.
You will be joining a distributed group of legal professionals across the US that support our go-to-market activities in the United States and several international markets with a focus on partnering with our Sales organization. This position is a tremendous opportunity for a candidate with a passion for driving positive business outcomes and solving complex structural challenges in established organizations to join a tight-knit legal department and add significant value to a dynamic company with a growing customer base and product portfolio. The role will be working with stakeholders located in the Western United States and expected to be available during California working hours but the role can be based in the Box corporate offices in either: Redwood City, Austin, Chicago, or New York City.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive the contract negotiation and execution process to closure while manage risks
- Support in the processing of a variety of legal agreements including NDAs and privacy-related terms
- Seek, track and save approvals from multiple internal teams (Deal Desk, Technical Accounting, Support)
- Collaborate on legal projects including sales enablement, training, and operational/export compliance
- Assist with contract management system administration, legal research, and other governance duties
WHO YOU ARE
Required Skills
- BA/BS degree with 3+ years of relevant professional business and/or contract management experience
- Attentive with a highly detailed approach to reviewing and redlining contracts
- Able to courteously and succinctly explain company positions and policies
- A track record of positive collaborative experiences with the ability to comfortably manage projects with multiple stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Previous exposure to US and EU data security and privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA) preferable
- Knowledgeable of cloud business models with the related legal, business and technical issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple business expectations

$97,000 - $121,500 USD
