Job Description

i360 has an immediate opening for an R12 Oracle EBS RICE and PL/SQL Financials R12 Developers to support an existing R12 Federal Financials shared service environment. The candidates should have at least 7 years’ experience in Oracle R12 financial applications and processes implementation. This project is on-boarding now. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in supporting and implementing reports, interfaces, data conversions and enhancements in an R12 environment 
  • Provide input, design, and review of overall strategy for conversion of legacy data onto shared service provider (SSP) Oracle E Business Suite applications system 
  • Perform development using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL), R12 APIs and web services 
  • Utilize R12 APIs to establish web services 
  • Perform mapping, design, build, test, and deployment services in support of the data migration to the shared service provider (SSP) 
  • Support the technical design of data conversion and extensions from legacy internal and external systems into the standardized software and processes of a shared service provider (SSP) using Oracle E Business Suite applications 
  • Execute Unit testing and/or System Integration Testing (SIT) testing of development work and document results per approved test templates and procedures 
  • Assist in development of test scripts and training materials 
  • Create documentation (technical documents, data mapping, TE040, etc) for data conversions and application extensions 
  • Provide triage support for data migration defects 
  • Assist in preparing work tasks, task duration estimates, and schedules 
  • Provide problem analysis/diagnosis/resolution, implementation, and post-implementation support 
  • Provide knowledge transfer to support personnel and users as needed 
  • Support of system and users after initial cut over to SSP 

Requirements: 

  • 7+ years general software development experience with specialized experience in developing within the Oracle R12 applications, specifically data conversions and application extensions 
  • Experience developing with TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL, load scripts, UNIX scripts, Personalization, Interfaces, Workflow, XML Publisher, R12 APIs and web service development 
  • Demonstrated experience with the Oracle technology stack including: 
    • PL/SQL development 
    • Oracle Discoverer 
    • Oracle JDeveloper 
    • Oracle RDBMS 
    • R12 APIs and Web services 
    • Oracle Apex
  • Must understand Oracle Applications table structure and APIs 
  • Experience with configuration management tools and processes 
  • Experience documenting design, code, testing 
  • Experience unit testing, integration testing, and conducting code reviews 
  • Oracle Financials Applications and specific experience with AP, AR, CLM, GL/ SLA and FedAdmin experience is a plus 
  • Experience with shared service provider is a plus 
  • Experience with project implementation life cycle 
  • Experience developing within service-oriented architectures (SOA) using web services is a plus

Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years’ experience or equivalent related experience 

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills 
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Must be able to clear a federal background investigation - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information 
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card 

Work week: Monday-Friday
Primary Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Salary Information
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $110,000 – $120,000 (Maximum)
