The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Manager, Business and Legal Applications:
This operational and analytical position will play an instrumental role in the implementations and day-to-day management of key Legal and back office administrative business systems at LA 2028. As a manager in the technology team, the candidate will work with project stakeholders across the organization and be responsible for supporting implementations, project-based tasks, product management and administration of business systems. Additionally, this role will lead cross-functional initiatives including business team engagement, process improvement, and games planning initiatives.
The candidate should exhibit strong technical, product and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple solutions at a rapid pace. The position will require significant collaboration and partnership to get alignment on and drive objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align business initiatives with technology solutions. Define business use cases, requirements, and objectives to develop clear project plans and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Finance, HR, external vendors) to help strategize and plan for long-term business milestones and manage product backlogs.
- Support planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of integration of systems with other back-office administrative and games management applications.
- Analyze and streamline business processes, create workflows, and build automations within the solutions ecosystem. Work as a key member of the tech project team to support the delivery of the prioritized roadmap, including legal technology solutions (e.g., Contract Lifecycle Management and Board Management).
- Triage system-related requests and provide day-to-day support for operational systems, coordinating troubleshooting with technology departments and vendors.
- Manage external contractors and software vendors to handle enhancements and ensure operational availability.
- Liaise with Cybersecurity and Architecture teams. Maintain and audit data, records, and templates, proposing improvements to policies and processes. Ensure compliance with data policies and set up appropriate user roles and security settings.
- Product manage and administer key platforms: Agiloft CLM, Board Management, DocuSign, Smartwaiver, IP Approvals Management, and Travel Management.
Background & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years hands on experience with administering Contract Lifecycle Management SaaS solutions, Agiloft experience preferable.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end technical implementations. Possess technical project management skills to prioritize initiatives, control scope, manage issues and risks, and deliver on time.
- Experience with structured deployments including user acceptance testing and release management.
- Intellectually curious, optimistic, patient and kind demeanor.
- Fluent in project management frameworks (PMP or Prince2) and the use of tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or MS Project).
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, coordination and presentation skills.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues.
- Ability to interact cross-functionally to achieve set objectives.
- Ability to patiently and efficiently perform in a fast-paced environment and handle and manage multiple products.
- Engaging communicator able to lead training to optimize tool adoption and usage.
- Prior experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred, with experience liaising closely with a Legal team.
- High level of adaptability in a constantly evolving and entrepreneurial environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Candidates should expect a standard 5-day week working out of the LA28 offices, initially in Westwood and then in Downtown Los Angeles.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related degree from an accredited institution
The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
