Senior Manager, Procurement Operations
Overview /Objective:
The NFL is seeking a self-motivated and ambitious Senior Manager to oversee Procurement Operations for a newly created Global Procurement function. The successful candidate will focus on leading governance best practices and controls for Procurement policies, processes and systems. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization’s procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of vendor management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Oversee the creation and management of a spend cube to consolidate and analyze procurement data effectively
- Conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
- Lead the source to pay cycle, including partnering with Accounts Payable to drive process improvement/automation, and audit compliance
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead procurement optimization in executing market events and RFPs, optimizing sourcing activities across categories while partnering with category management to define strategies.
- Perform SWOT, Cost-Benefit, Total Cost of Ownership analyses to support decision-making with category management.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Continuously improve procurement processes, systems, and tools.
- Assist in developing and executing annual and multi-year program plans to help the organization meet Supplier Diversity goals and continuously improve program operations
- Create/prepare regular reports on procurement activities including cost savings, supplier performance, and budget analysis
This role is based on-site in our league office full-time.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advance degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, procurement operations, or supply chain management.
- Skills
- Extremely strong data analytics skills; ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
- Knowledge of industry best in class Source to Pay tool design and implementation is desired
- Expert knowledge of world class process knowledge related to the procurement value chain including: sourcing, contracting, requisitioning, and invoicing preferred
- Previous experience with large enterprise procurement technologies (i.e. Oracle, Coupa, Jaggaer, Ariba, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including creating executive presentations
- Build effective relationship with departments and continue to elevate procurement team to support a new global function
- Advanced MS Excel /PowerPoint required

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position may require additional hours as needed.
Salary
$125,000 - $155,000 USD
