Senior Manager, Game Operations and Administration
Overview /Objective:
NFL Football Operations is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to serve as the Senior Manager of Game Operations and Administration. This position will play a pivotal role in managing club compliance with Game Operations policies, as well as the discipline and appeal administration process. They will manage several administrative processes and support the operational aspects within the Game Operations unit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of professional sports operations, have a legal background, and be a self-starter.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the review and editing process for the Game Operations Manual, League Policies for Players, and Postseason Manual
- Creates educational summaries of policy documents for club distribution and hosts training sessions
- Manages the disciplinary and appeals administration process, including drafting letters to club personnel and coordinating appeal hearings
- Manages the Football Operations memo communication process
- Develops Enterprise Risk Management planning materials for Internal Audit team
- Monitors games in the Game Day Operations Center or attends games as a Football Operations representative
- Football Operations game and event duties as assigned by department, including travel to NFL games (preseason, regular season, playoffs, International Series, Pro Bowl, and Super Bowl), NFL Combines and other developmental programs, college All Star games, NFL Draft, and in-season and offseason meetings
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in sports management, event operations, or a related field, preferably within professional or collegiate sports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications:
- J.D. or legal experience preferred
- Strong understanding of NFL rules, operations, and game day policies

Travel:
Significant travel, especially during the football season, including weekends and holidays
Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This role will require additional hours on nights and weekends, especially during the football season.
Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Salary
$100,000 - $130,000 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
