Seasonal Graphics Designer - Brand

The NFL Media Design Group is seeking a talented Brand Designer specializing in sports design, to elevate multiple brand identity systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing captivating whole cloth cross-platform design systems. You will also be charged with designing and maintaining current identity systems. You will play a pivotal role in identifying areas to refine the current brand to create a more cohesive visual identity across multiple touchpoints, including digital, print and broadcast.

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate content for the various groups serviced by NFL Media Design Group
  • Be able to work on both long-term projects and short-turn around deadlines that can be as quick as same-day, leveraging existing toolkits or unique assets, with the guidance of the project’s art director and creative producer, to deliver on time.
  • Design brand identity systems from the ground up and provide feedback to further refine and elevate current identity systems.
  • Drive brand consistency across digital, broadcast and print platforms, including app, web, still visuals, photography, social media, video production, and digital marketing touchpoints.
  • Demonstrated ability to think systematically and design forward-thinking systems that work cross-platform.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and content teams to develop cohesive presentations, and campaigns that effectively communicate our brand story and value proposition.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders for creative brainstorming and conceptional design exploration, bringing a strong design voice and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to develop custom designs and animations that derive from style guides, existing graphics packages and/or references provided by art directors.
  • Ability to adhere to communicated file naming conventions and shared organizational guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working in the design-animation field.
  • 3-5 years of experience and proficient knowledge Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • 3-5 years of experience and proficient knowledge of Figma.
  • Able to accommodate non-standard work hours, holidays and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A working knowledge of UI design is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or C4D is a plus.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 7-month employment period, 40 hours/week expected.
  • Flexible schedule is a must including weekends, holidays, and late nights.

Salary

$37 - $80 USD
