Manager, Live Event Presentation & Entertainment

The Manager, Live Event Presentation & Entertainment serves as core driver of event presentation, show production and entertainment across the league’s tentpole events which includes Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, NFL Draft, Scouting Combine, Hall of Fame, Flag Championships, the NFL Kickoff.  This role will also lead our show presentation and production across our growing number of international games.

The role will oversee all aspects related to the event's run-of-show, creative evolution, production, and beyond. Additionally, they will facilitate game presentation across all 32 clubs by engaging in ongoing discussions on optimal practices, innovation, and policies.  This role demands an advanced grasp of major event presentation across the sports/entertainment, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements, and possessing a creative vision to propel the continual evolution of our events.

Responsibilities

  • Drive key components for NFL International Games/Events: run of show, pre-event pageantry/game timeline, entertainment design, creative development, production, staging, staffing, contracts, vendor management.
  • Manage on-site presentation execution across all major NFL events, including Super Bowl game (and surrounding events), Pro Bowl, NFL Draft, Scouting Combine, Hall of Fame
  • Generate new and innovative production techniques leveraging technology and the newest platforms to ensure the NFL is at the forefront in delivering the ultimate fan experience
  • Work cross-functionally with the broader events team to manage logistics including oversight of stage managers/BOH crews, talent management and movements, vendors, partners and internal departments.
  • Drive strong alignment with the NFL Media group (NFL Network, NFL Digital, Broadcasting, Sponsorship, etc.) and with all key media partners to elevate both the on-site experience, as well as the media experience
  • Work closely with key commercial and non-commercial entities across the NFL (e.g., Sponsorship, Consumer Products, Marketing, Social Responsibility) to ensure improved integration of key partners and priorities across events
  • Support the presentation of our game across all 32 clubs, including leading annual planning meetings, facilitating regular dialogue with clubs on Football Operations/Broadcast guidelines and partnering closely with NFL Club Business Development
  • Identify best-in-class strategies and tactics via analysis of league event performance, club input, and external case studies to drive best practices across the League and the clubs

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in creating a “Run of Show” and timelines for live events
  • Comprehensive understanding of live production processes
  • Strong insight of the entertainment/music industry and live event strategies
  • Creative ideation, development and delivery
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally
  • Experience with creating engaging presentations and decks for C-Level and large-scale planning meetings
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in serving as a point of contact for vendors and production teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Live Event Production Experience or related work
  • 4 Year Degree or equivalent education

Physical Demands

  • Standing for long periods of time. Covering large footprints across event sites

Travel

  • ~40% travel for events and planning meetings

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. 

Salary

$90,000 - $115,000 USD
