Sales Assistant

Overview /Objective:

This Coordinator position resides in the Pricing and Planning Department and works closely with the NFL Media Sales department in selling and servicing new and existing national and corporate sponsorships to direct clients and advertising agencies.  A successful candidate should have excellent analytical & organizational abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of Account Executive schedules
  • Maintenance of the system used to build plans
  • Actively track liability and provide stewardship of all media schedules
  • Work with Accounting Department to resolve contract discrepancies and invoice adjustments
  • Provide support to and complete additional projects as directed by management
  • Work in conjunction with Traffic department to ensure placement and delivery of units
  • Build and maintain relationships with advertising agency personnel
  • Work in conjunction with Programming Department to identify upcoming programs and sponsorships

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

NFL employees are required to work 40 hours and 5 days per week in the New York office. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary

$25 - $26.50 USD
