Club Social Monetization Associate

The NFL’s Marketing department is seeking a strategic, data-driven Associate to support the analysis and growth of sponsored content across all 32 clubs. This role will focus on measuring the performance and value, identifying optimization opportunities, and delivering actionable insights that drive revenue through social posts. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of social platforms, is fluent in analytics, and can work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. Prior experience within sales/sponsorship is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, seasonal, and ad hoc performance reports to capture engagement metrics, content value, and trends across all 32 clubs’ sponsored social content.
  • Monitor and report earnings from partner monetization programs.
  • Tag, organize, and analyze sponsored content posted by clubs across social platforms.
  • Evaluate ROI of branded content and recommend optimizations to improve impact.
  • Share best practices and insights with clubs to guide and improve sponsored content executions.
  • Simplify complex data sets into clear insights and visuals for internal and external presentations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by staying up to date on social monetization trends and platform changes to support strategy development.
  • Work with internal teams (Sponsorship, Club Media, Club Business Development, etc.) and external stakeholders collaboratively.
  • Provide operational support to our 32 clubs on gamedays and around League tentpole events as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or another related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience within the social media space; sales/sponsorship experience is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of social media platforms and content performance (including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, X, Snap, Facebook, Reddit, etc.).
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Emplifi, Zoomph, etc.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, visually compelling presentations and dashboards.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail are extremely crucial to this role.
  • Ability to stay on top of deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and on a team.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends during NFL gamedays, League events (e.g. Combine, Draft), and other peak periods.
  • Must be able to work holidays depending on the NFL game schedule (including but not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary

$35 - $40 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
