Position: Integrated Designer, 24-month FTC (w/m/d)

Location: Cologne, Germany (Office presence expected at minimum 2 days per week)

 

About the role:

As an Integrated Designer working directly with the client, you'll take both digital and print projects from brief to completion across a variety of brands. This role requires a combination of creative design flair and technical expertise in artworking and packaging files for various print and digital channels 

You will report to the Associate Creative Director based in the UK and collaborate closely with the Content Studio Lead in Cologne. As part of the wider Northern Europe setup, you will contribute to the Cologne Studio's creative output. 

The studio primarily adapts global assets for regional markets, and you will play a key role in managing projects day-to-day alongside the Project Manager and client, ensuring delivery within specified timeframes and budgets. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Create inspiring digital and print content, from repurposing and reformatting assets to generating new ideas. 
  • Develop creative designs and ideas according to the client’s brief and deliver to exacting standards. 
  • Produce delivery-ready files, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. 
  • Monitor quality, accuracy, and consistency of output proactively. 
  • Provide creative input to influence clients positively and pitch new concepts when required. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, branding, and marketing developments to achieve creative excellence. 
  • Build collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients, providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Demonstrate strong project management abilities, handling multiple projects of varying sizes for a high-profile client. 
  • Mentor junior team members to help upskill them. 
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team of three. 

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Strong client engagement skills with an ability to organise, influence, and foster productive relationships. 
  • Exceptional creative flair and technical design skills, with expertise in preparing files for final delivery. 
  • Confidence in sharing ideas with internal teams and clients. 
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere). 
  • Fluency in both German and English. 
  • Strong typographic, layout, and attention-to-detail skills. 
  • Motion design skills to create impactful animations from brand assets, including storyboarding. 
  • Ability to design across various channels, including: 
  • Print (E.g. trade magazines, shopper marketing) 
  • Digital (E.g. static/animated web banners, HTML5) 
  • Social media (E.g. Instagram and Facebook posts) 
  • Web/Online (E.g. website design, HTML email) 
  • Experience in the drinks and beverages sector is a plus, but not essential. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in: Print, Digital and social media, Motion graphics, Web design, and Artworking 
  • We are looking for someone with a well-balanced skill set in both artworking and design
